Dr. K. D. Tripathi

Dr. K. D. Tripathi is a dedicated orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in difficult orthopaedic and musculoskeletal problems. He is a pioneer in joint replacement surgery for arthritic patients of this region and he has also started arthroscopy and sports injury management in this region. He has also started and established spinal fixations, hip & knee replacements, shoulder & elbow replacements along with advanced arthroscopic surgeries of knee, shoulder and ankles. Recently he has also started doing revision joint replacement surgeries in this part of Northern India.

He has through and vast training starting from MLN Medical College, Allahabad; Central Institute of Orthopaedics, New Delhi; All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Singapore General Hospital; Royal Liverpool Hospital; Wrightington Hospital & Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, Scotland from where he did his MCh (Orth) under the guidance of Prof. D. I. Rowley, Prof. Simon Frostick & Prof. Roger Aitkins.

He has excellent organizational capacity and organized many National and International Conferences in the Sangam City, Allahabad like National Conference on Arthroscopy and Sports Injury in 2003, International Conference on New Trends in Arthroplasty in 2005, Hip Symposia on The Problems of Young and Adult Hips in 2007, International Symposium on Current Concepts on Joint Replacement Surgeries in 2008, 22nd Annual Conference of Indian Foot and Ankle Society in 2009, Arthroplasty Workshop of UPCON 2010, International Conference on Shoulder Arthroscopy in 2011.

His vision and mission is to bring Allahabad in the map of Global Orthopaedics and the premiere place for Orthopaedics in the country as well.
